How hard can it be? - Adventures of a Gnome Mage Extraordinair

So yesterday someone in the guild said to me that the world would end in 2012. Something about the Mayan calender ending and that there is going to be a big natural disaster. Not the first time I heard this, a friend of mine was also going on about this a while back. And there is even a movie coming about it...

I call bullshit.

Now ofcourse you can agree or disagree about this, but can you really believe that a civilization that is long (really long!) gone somehow knew which exact date the world would end? How can they know something we can't see coming? Aren't we currently the most advanced civilization of humans since we walked out of the caves and discovered fires?

Personally, I actually can see the future. No really. But it's in a way I can't ever get a grasp on, since I dream it. Once every so often I have really vivid dreams where I see something clearly and can almost feel like I am there. Then I wake up and don't really remember it anymore. But months later when I'm like walking somewhere at work or whereever, I get the biggest Deja Vu you can imagine. Since that point in time I can actually remember from those dreams months earlier.

I can vaguely remember this happening when I was young too. My mom always knew I was special somehow. According to those that care I am gifted. I have a photographic long term memory, and it fails short term somehow. I remember stuff naturally if it interests me.

Sometimes it freaks me out.

But I don't worry about it. I worry about not much in this life. I try to live day by day and see what life brings me. What interests me? Mostly WoW and Television. Also I do Handball and am a Scout.

Balancing life is the hardest part, but isn't that the meaning of it? Living your life like you want, enjoying it anyway you can while trying to make everyone around you enjoy with you.
